His glass is colorful, yet has a monotone calmness to it. After combining two colors of glass to create a shape, he carves a vertical line about 1mm wide on the outside and then sands the entire piece with a fine file. with the vertical line and the delicate sanding of the entire surface, his glass has a soft and gentle light-filled appearance. His glass is very delicate but comfortable to hold. When liquid is poured into the glass, it takes on a beautiful appearance like an objet d'art.　The beauty of his glass enriches our daily life.

When he was university student, he experimented with different genres, such as glass production and ceramics, in order to find out what he was suited for and what he liked. He says that he was actually good at pottery, too.

The reason he decided to make glass was that it was a combination of arts, crafts and physical education which I had loved since I was a child. He says that making glass is similar to a physical sport such as when to take out the glass and adjusting its shape. Therefore he became interested in making glass works while moving his body. Then he decided to move to Toyama where there is a famous glass workshop. He told us his story while he moved his body rhythmically and created beautiful pieces.

Although his works are in color, they have a quiet monochrome feel. In addition, while they have the playfulness of a toy, they stand out with a refined sharpness. He creates his works by daring to express something quiet by combining these contradictory
extremes. He says he wants to value the diversity of different values.

He is interested in creating unique pieces that have an object-like element, even if they are tableware that is used on our daily life. The beautiful works created by his hand are not only beautiful, but also exist quietly surrounded by light and shadow.
