We are pleased to present a solo exhibition by Shohei Ono, a ceramic artist based in Kami City, Kochi Prefecture, Japan.
For Shohei Ono, ceramics are simply one of many forms of artistic expression.
"I've always challenged myself to do the opposite of what the textbooks teach."
True to these words, his work continually evolves beyond convention, constantly redefining
beauty and form. His pieces offer more than the beauty of functional vessels.
They possess a quiet sensuality with a subtle tension, creating a presence that is both
captivating and unexpected.

Working across electronica, ambient, post-rock, and noise, he composes for films, television, fashion, media art, and commercial projects. His work has been recognized with Silver Awards at the ADC Annual Awards, ADFEST, and Spikes Asia. He also creates music under the aliases anre*f and Lotus Lichter.

长期从事电影、电视剧、广告、媒体艺术等领域的音乐创作。其参与作品曾获 ADC Annual
Awards、ADFEST、Spikes Asia 银奖。另以 anre*f、Lotus Lichter 等名义进行音乐创作。
