Continuing from last year, we were holding a simple kintsugi class for two days on June 7th and 8th, 2025, inviting Mr.Takehito Kobayashi（小林剛人さん), a kintsugi craftsman and owner of the cafe "wad" in Osaka at ennen.
The class was also began with Kobayashi san explaining the history of Kintsugi, including how it began and the difference between real lacquer and simple Kintsugi.
We are very glad that everyone enjoyed the experience of Kintsugi under
Kobayashi san’s detailed explanation. 
We think that the process of using and repairing pottery with care is one that fosters a deep attachment. We believe that doing so enriches our life.
The Kintsugi technique, in which you repair your favorite pottery had been a time to concentrate and face yourself, almost like meditation.
During tea time, everyone enjoyed talking about various things with Kobayashi-san.
We are very happy that you all spent your valuable time for Kintsugi workshop with Kobayashi san. We are grateful to Kobayashi-san for coming to Shanghai and creating this opportunity, and to everyone for participating and enjoying the Kintsugi experience these two days.
